Timed-entry tickets to Richmond Maritime Festival Re-Imagined are sold out. For those who would still like to join us for the festivities inside the Seine Net Loft, the docks, and Shipyard Building, there will be a limited number of walk-up spots available — admission is free. The rest of the 8-acre site will be open to the public and visitors can tour the historic buildings, enjoy a picnic with a range of choices from five food vendors, and be entertained by roving performers and storytellers.
The festival also has an online component this year. Virtual visitors can explore the historic structures of Britannia through 3D tours. New content will be released on an interactive map at 11 a.m. on August 21, including two new music videos from award-winning artist Norine Braun, performances by local musicians and storytellers, and a photo slideshow featuring Steveston’s maritime heritage.
