Elijah Strand, head of Deer Palace Studio, is an emerging professional puppeteer and maker who’s work is inspired by Norwegian folklore and a love for nature.

Performing as a roving puppeteer at events, he’s never without his intrepid little companion Pips, a playful and eager little mouse who loves adventure, meeting new people, and exploring the world around him. His work, fueled by a love for the magic of puppetry and storytelling, aims to create engaging shows and experiences for all ages.
