The Wheat in the Barley is a White Rock/Vancouver based group that has toured BC and Alberta extensively. They have a special brand of Celtic music blended in with other cultures like Slavic, South American, Quebecois and the Maritimes. They also perform original songs and are not afraid to put their own twist on popular songs. When opening for the very popular Valdy at a festival, he said, “What an incredible group! What does a guy have to do to follow an act like that – set his beard on fire?”
