Celtic Roots – Branching Out

The group features Michael Viens on guitars and vocals and Rosie Carver on fiddle. You may recognize them as members of Blackthorn, Vancouver’s longest running Celtic band. These accomplished musicians have been making musical magic together for over 30 years and are regular fixtures on the local Celtic music scene.

Their repertoire is rooted in the Celtic tradition and includes a lot of fun maritime-themed material perfect for the Richmond Maritime Festival.

Blackthorn Blossoms have had the pleasure of performing many times in the past for the Richmond Maritime Festival and look forward to hoisting their musical sails in Richmond again!
