Festival Performances

Enjoy fun and interactive performances from live musicians and storytellers including festival favourites: Rikki the Rat and his crew, Mimi the Mouse, Lulu the Mermaid, and Tabby the Cat. Explore our full performer schedule here.

Arts & Crafts

Take part in hands-on craft areas where you can colour in a giant seascape panel, learn some simple origami (Japanese paper-folding), or even design your own boat flag.

Family Cool Down Zone

Beat the heat at The Captain’s Quarters and find some shade to play with puzzles, learn to tie knots with the Sea Scouts, or float your own cork boat in our special water feature.

Our festival grounds have plenty of space for strollers. Pack your picnic blanket and snacks or enjoy our on-site festival food. Set a course for free family fun at the Richmond Maritime Festival.
